So I’m going to be attending college this coming fall and am stuck with a decsion…. Should I buy a Mac Pro at $2200, or just build a custom PC for a fraction of the price? Now I will be going into Graphic Design so I don’t care about all the extra’s. But all of my graphics teachers at my high school have said Mac is the way to go. Because they run a lot faster, and they’re so clean and the such. I will mostly be using Adobe, but need to know what to do… I don’t need a laptop because I already have one, but It’s really slow and I only use it for music, writing, movies, etc… I want something with more power, that won’t freeze when I have too many browser’s open, that won’t shut off when playing the simplest of games at the medium settings (Trackmania, Halo), Something I can rely on to get the job done, not only fast; but making sure everything loads. Please help me here… what should I do?

So yesterday I asked my friend to be my gf after our successful date earlier, we had held hands and everything and she said that she liked me alot but she couldn’t due to her mental situation and stuff and she told me not to beat myself up about it that it wasn’t my fault and that she wouldn’t say no forever and she would tell me when she is ready, however I’m leaving 4 college and she’s a junior and I don’t know how long she means possibly years I’m so confused and heartbroken?

Hey yahoo people, I am 19 and still a virgin like for real. I thought I would lose my virginity during prom night or at parties, but I guess not. About to hit my 2nd year in college and turn 20 in a couple of months. I am just curious on how it truly feels to make love with somebody you want to do it with? Anybody else in their teens and still a virgin? Anyway is it really worth the wait and lose my virginity once I am married and have a wife? I would probably be in my 20’s by then and is that age gap respectable?

I want to know what I can do to get over this.
Basically I had a friend at College and we were really close and we were pretty much best friends. Then during the last project of the last year she just suddenly started to ignore me and hate me. I asked my friends and they said that I interfere too much with her personal life and she didn’t like it. I really think that I didn’t do anything wrong, and I believe that she was just being really paranoid. So I gave her space and I just gave her time. She never wanted to talk to me or be friendly in any way. This really got to me because we were friends for about 2 years, and so I tried to make an effort but nothing happened. College for me was really horrible for the last 6 weeks because it created tension between all my friends, and so I decided not to do my University years there and so I moved.
When I moved away, my close College friends ignored me and so I decided to just move on and forget about them and start afresh.
Recently on Facebook I decided to clear my name and send a message to my friends at College telling them that I wanted to be on good terms. I then realized that everyone blocked me apart from one (she was in between it all I think) it hurt me deeply because I just feel that I didn’t do anything wrong, and I just feel victimized by this stupid paranoia.
I want to ignore them but it’s stuck in my head, I just feel so cut off and it’s all because of this lie. How can I get over this?

The job I have right now pays for both choices 100%. I can go to a university and get a four year degree in nursing (RN) or I could go to the local community college and get an associates degree in nursing (also RN). I know a degree is a degree and becoming an RN either way is great. I am 23 and have not been to college at all yet and because of the job I have I wouldn’t actually graduate in four years it would be more like five. A two year degree might take 2 1/2. Any way I’m not getting any younger so which one would be better? I would like to start a family before I’m 28 or 29 also.

Whatever you think of Breitbart.com’s punishing vetting process, it has exposed just how little work the mainstream media did in investigating candidate Obama back in 2008. Not all of Team Breitbart’s revelations have been election-deciders, but they have often been stuff that a simple Google would have uncovered. If they revealed tomorrow that he’d had his own cross-dressing-themed sitcom on primetime TV in the 1980s, I wouldn’t be surprised.
The latest find is a fascinating inversion of the birther conspiracy. Breitbart.com has discovered that in 1991 Barack Obama’s literary agent (who also represented New Kids on the Block) published a booklet that included a biography of the future President. The audience was “business colleagues” in the publishing industry and it was designed to promote Obama’s anticipated first book (later abandoned) called Journeys in Black and White. Here’s how it describes the author’s origins.
Barack Obama, the first African-American president of the Harvard Law Review, was born in Kenya and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii. The son of an American anthropologist and a Kenyan finance minister, he attended Columbia University and worked as a financial journalist and editor for Business International Corporation.
The key phrase here is “was born in Kenya” – and this bio line was apparently being used as late as 2007.
Today, the President has satisfied all right-minded folk that he was in fact born in Hawaii. Breitbart.com itself has always rejected the absurd cult of birtherism. In fact, this story is really the opposite of birtherism – Breitbart infers that in the past Obama encouraged people to think that he was born abroad in order to establish an identity as an authentic, exotic voice in the debate on racial politics.
Obama’s old literary agent has issued a terse statement to the effect that the wording was all her fault and she never consulted her client. If that’s true, she’s a bad agent. A different agent, quoted by Breitbart.com, disagrees. He told the website “that while ‘almost nobody’ wrote his or her own biography, the non-athletes in the booklet, whom ‘the agents deal[t] with on a daily basis,’ were ‘probably’ approached to approve the text as presented.”
If we accept that Obama didn’t provide the biography, it would seem highly unlikely that he didn’t get a chance to vet it. Accepting that he didn’t do that either, it’s incredibly strange that the literary agent approached by Breitbart.com does not remember Obama calling the agency to register a complaint and make a correction. My mother spent a lot of her childhood in Grenada. If my literary agent told people I was born in the Caribbean, I’d at least pick up the phone to set the record straight.
Look beyond the sordid details and the big story here is that this nugget wasn’t part of the wider discussion had back in 2008 about Obama’s background and credentials. And why not? The documents were easy to find – the one that showed that “born in Kenya” was still being used in 2007 was on the Internet.
As for Obama, the vetting continues and Republicans have yet more to play with – with the focus, sadly, once more on race. For those who think that the Tea Party media is being obsessive and nasty, think of this as an exercise in levelling the playing field. If The Washington Post is going to write about how Mitt Romney once cut the hair of a guy it presumes was gay (because, well, his hair needed cutting), then Breitbart.com probably thinks it has every just cause to shout about every occasion that Obama ate a dog or told someone he was half-Phoenecian to get their vote. For the sentences in which mentioned above, does it look like direct translate from dialect language or standard English? My friend said it should be [ You are very efficient instead of the word ENOUGH followed by the word EFFICIENT.]
And how can I improve my writing skills? I really want to improve my writing skills since I don’t want to have a Broken English in my sentence. How can I differentiate between the Standard English and Broken English?
For example,
In Standard English,
[I worked my way through college.]
In Chinese Educator, we will direct translation from Mandarin.

Okay so I’m like a freshman in high school, about to become a sophmore. Anyways tomorrow I’m going to my cousin’s graduation & then graduation party & then the after party with him and his friends (Not like a date he’s throwing the party and i’m going lol) anyways I’ve known his best friend my entire life and have always had a crush on him, but moved a couple years ago and haven’t seen him sense. It’s been like a couple years now & like the three of us use to hang out all the time. He like amazing, popular, handsome, & such a sweetheart & is a great football player & like I truely liked him before all that, even though he was always handsome and sweet. He taught me how to play baseball with swinging the bat the “proper form.” <3 lol anyways what are some things I can do to impress him and make him like me back cause I just like him & honestly i don't care if it's friends with benefits, dating, or one kiss. 'Cause I know once guys are in college I mean this guys like me, we both are players and love to party but I have geniune feelings for him & honestly idc if he plays me because i'm only me with him.
