I am currently enrolled in a community college. I am planning to transfer to a UC campus but I am wondering if you can still be a community college student and work at the UC of your choice closely with a professor in research opportunities..? I am an Cultural Anthropology Major/ B.A.

I am going to Indiana University and majoring in Political Science. What would my GPA have to be to get into Harvard Law? Or, is there a better option for a law school considering I eventually want to get into politics? Also, what sort of things can I do now to prepare myself for college and politics, which I love? (I’m 15) Thanks!

So I asked my dad if I could use his credit card to order stuff online and I would give him the money after I’m done ordering. I ordered some Kpop (Korean pop) albums, and he said I’m always buying useless things. But Kpop is something I love very much, I know I don’t need them but it’s something I love and I love collecting albums. I had $300 and I only spent $90 on the albums. Should I be feeling bad? I mean people spend money on things they don’t need all the time. He told me I’m wasting my money but am I really? What is so wrong with buying something you love? It’s not like I’m not going to have money at all for my whole life. When I’m a bit older I will get a job and save money for college because I’m still pretty young right now. I feel really guilty but at the same time I’m happy… I’m confused.

okay i’m a 21 year old guy and i met this new girl at work about 11 days ago.
(i am totally not looking for dating someone fyi!)
to make this a real long story much shorter, we have had plans to hang about 4 times, to which all have ended up falling through..
: Sunday – realized she had work early next morning, so she suggested monday.
: Monday – apparently we didn’t hang b/c she fell asleep
: Thursday – she said she was sick/stressed out that night
: Monday – she had to spend time with her mom who returned from a week-long vacation.
- (Tonight!) SHE said we would hang instead, however she didn’t respond when i texted her to meet up.. she probably had night-class (for college) and forgot about it or something..
(she also recently got dumped by her boyfriend.. and as of this week, they got back together.)
yesterday i confronted her nicely and said “if you don’t want to hang, let me know.”.. she then said that she definitely wanted to hang. i told her i wouldn’t get mad, as long as she is honest. i just wanna be friends..
even though we work together, she could just say “now is not a good time”…. so why is she doing this if she wants to hang?

I am 17 years old and will be 18 in September about a month before the baby is due.My boyfriend who is 21(PA state its legal). We have been dating 1yr almost 2yrs. PS: I am a Junior in High School and plan on still going to school and community college for Pediatric Nursing and I have a job and so does he. I also have money saved up for college but of course I will use that to support whatever I need for our child and contribute. I don’t believe in Abortion never have never will and adoption just isn’t for me but I do support others who choose to adopt out and don’t criticize abortion.

In December, ill be done with my freshmen year of college. How would I go about becoming a officer? What’s the requirements? I go to a local community college but At my local university, they have the Army ROTC nursing program. But my problem is that I don’t want to be a nurse, I want to be a field artillery officer,( let’s say they do have artillery) When December comes around do I simply go to the program and join even though I don’t even go the the university? Someone told me I could go to training during the summer and come back before school? Plz some explain to me about the rotc program

Some of the people who were the popular people in high school hate not being in their hometown and hate not being around people they don’t know.. Like with me, i had like 5 friends in my whole senior class and was an outcast pretty much. I was so excited to be out in 2009. But a lot of the popular kids whine and complain that they can’t be with their old friends, can’t hangout anymore etc. I LOVE college and while I am still in my hometown, I do not care about all the petty high school stuff. I have met so many great people in college and made some great friendships that I do not care to see anyone outside of a few people from high school again.

I’m 17 and ive been obsessed with russia for two years now and i will never get to go mainly because of skin heads.Most people have told me that not all russian hate black people and some tell me that some college students are killed.
But i’m not worried about that because ill never get to go so is it weird if i’m a fan of russia?I have a russia jacket…..that’s says russia across the front and i never wear it to school.Because i’m scared of the Response i would get.I took one of my how to speak russian books to school and a kid asked me “you must plan on going to russia?”.I meen can’t i learn other languages besides ebonics?

I am a 17yr old girl and I am really afraid I will end up alone forever. I am homeschooled so I dont meet many people which is probably why I have never had a boyfriend. I’m going to college next year but I still dont think I will find someone-afterall who would want me? I don’t know why I feel this way Im not fat or unnatractive (not that theres anything wrong with fat or plain people) but I just feel so unloveable.
